5th Annual Broadalbin Holiday Parade

This will be Broadalbin’s 5th Annual Holiday Parade, on Monday November 30th. Festivities will begin with a tree lighting ceremony and caroling in Kenside Park at 6:15pm. Girl Scout Troop 2013 has once again stepped up to take responsibility for the tree. The parade will begin at 6:30pm at the High School, following the same route as last year. (Bridge St., N. Main St., School St., First Avenue, W. Main back to Bridge St and back to the High School) There are 30 entries so far, with more expected. The Adirondack witches will have a float this year, making two stops along the route to perform a dance which they have been practicing for the event. Santa will greet children at the Masonic Temple after the parade. For more information, call Judy at Java Junction at 883-5282, or 542-1901.
